“I was in a store shopping, looking for a dress and I suddenly say ‘Oh there’s somebody I know’ and it was Jennifer Hudson and she was shopping and she said, ‘I know you,'” Behar said on the morning talk show, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
“Then I heard the sales girl say to her ‘You’re a size 0’ and I said to Jennifer ‘How does that feel?’ and she said ‘I feel like they’re talking to someone else.'”
The seemingly innocuous statement caused a flurry of speculation on internet gossip sites as to a) whether or not Hudson was actually a size 0 and b) whether the singer and Oscar-winning actress has gotten too skinny.
A spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, Hduson told Oprah Winfrey in January that she’s lost 80 pounds, going from a size 16 to a size 6 through diet and exercise.
“I’ve cooked all my meals at home, when I work out I do what I like to do, I don’t believe in overdoing myself,” Hudson said on The Oprah Winfrey Show in February. “It’s all about self-motivation because at the end of the day you can have all the money and all the personal trainers in the world, but if you don’t have that mindset it’s not possible… You have to do it for yourself.”
