Jorja Smith’s New Track with Stormzy + Wins BRIT Awards Critics Choice Award

As you all recall, we wrote a piece on Jorja Smith a few months back and encouraged our readers to check out her music. And though we’ve been a bit quiet on the talented singer, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy!

The UK native just released her newest track, “Let Me Down,” and it features another UK native, Stormzy. The somber song is the first track from Smith this year and we’re sure it won’t be the last BUT in the meantime, we should engulf ourselves in this beautiful sound. “Sometimes I wouldn’t mind if I was less important,” Smith sings before Stormzy raps on his verse, “Don’t go waste your loving on me/ When I see tears I’m likely to run.” Take a listen to the song below and tell us what you think.

If you don’t keep up with the BRIT Awards then we’re also here to share that Jorja Smith received the 2018 Critics Choice Award. The 19-year-old is flourishing and it’s clear that it’s going unnoticed! She also performed her newest song at the awards alongside Stormzy. And yes, they killed it!

Stay tuned as we keep you all up to date on Jorja Smith and what comes next for her!
