Mary J Blige’s “Mighty River” Streams Get Major Boost After Oscars

Mary J. Blige was among the artists who benefited from the exposure a performance during the Oscars can bring. Billboard reports that streams of Blige’s “Mighty River” (from Mudbound) increased by 321 percent after the ceremony, where it was up for the Best Original Song award.

Mary J. Blige was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Mudbound at the 2018 event. She lost out to Alison Janney for her role in I, Tonya.
