Miguel Performs “Remember Me” at Oscar Nominees Night Party

The Hollywood Reporter‘s sixth annual Nominees Night party got a jolt from two Oscar-contending recording artists Monday night when Miguel and Common took the stage for surprise performances of their nominated songs.

Miguel performed “Remember Me” from Pixar’s Coco.

Hosted by THR’s editorial director Matthew Belloni, the event drew such Oscar nominees as Jordan Peele (Get Out), Greta Gerwig and Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird), Timothee Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name), Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour), Guillermo Del Toro and Richard Jenkins (The Shape of Water), Willem Dafoe (The Florida Project), Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Aaron Sorkin (Molly’s Game), Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon (The Big Sick), Dee Rees (Mudbound) and Allison Janney (I, Tonya), among others.
