The-Dream Releases ‘Murderer’ Video Starring Zoe Saldana

The-Dream is a murderer, in song form of course.

The R&B singer-songwriter with a knack for slow jams penned a track for Zoe Saldana’s new film Columbiana. A YouTube video featuring clips from Saldana’s film set to the music of The-Dream’s song hit the Internet on Monday (August 22), according to The Smoking Section.

“I’m taking back the love you took from me,” The-Dream sings over an ominous beat, featuring tickling piano keys. “I’m turning into something you’ve never seen, and I’m a be the last thing you ever want to see. I’m a murderer.”

Earlier this month, The-Dream announced that he was releasing an official fourth album as well as an album just for the Internet.

“LP4 is underway. I, The-Dream, have decided to go forward with Diary Of A Madman LP, it almost didn’t happen,” The-Dream wrote on Twitter. “So I’ll be in my Def Jam uniform for at least one more season! Also a free ten song Internet album will be released by August 31.”

“LP 4 because of the contract negotiations does not have a date but it will be released fourth quarter,” The-Dream continued. “I will give a ten song Internet LP while you guys wait! Love you. The Internet LP is entitled1977 and will be released under my real name Terius Nash, not The-Dream. Shooting videos for 1977 all this week. The Terius Nash Est. 1977 is very personal and to my fans!”
