August Greene, the hip-hop-soul supergroup consisting of Common and musicians Karriem Riggins and Robert Glasper performed several songs on NPR’s Tiny Desk yesterday.
The entire concert focused on equality and positivity diving into many topics with their songs.
The group brought out Brandy to perform the track “Optimistic” and the room lit up. Brandy’s vocals were on point and Common’s freestyle was next level.
