Jade Alston first emerged on the R&B scene with Single On A Saturday Night, which was her debut mixtape. She hails from Philadelphia and already has plans to elevate the bar with her new insightful Ep.Sunday Morning. The style of this independent R&B singer can be described as bright, smooth, relevant, sincere and soulful. The immensity of her emotional vocals has some people comparing her to Jazmine Sullivan and Toni Braxton.
Jade had a minor setback when she was diagnosed with myocarditis last August. Myocarditis is a fatal heart condition, which caused Jade to be hospitalized and focus completely on her health. Alston is still unsigned, but she linked up with Kickstarter to help fund her debut album, We Will Live. Her album is set for release in 2014.
