Thousands of protesters hit the streets for the #KeepFamiliesTogether rallies that took place across the United States on Saturday (June 30). In Washington, D.C., thousands of people converged at Capitol Hill to protest the Trump administration’s immigration policies and reunite families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Big-name artists like Alicia Keys and John Legend appeared at rallies in D.C., and Los Angeles, respectively. According to social media reports, Keys, who brought her son Egypt along, delivered empowering speech front of attendees at the D.C. march with actress America Ferrera.
