A Lauryn Hill & Drake Track Might Be In The Works

Several days after Drake announced that he’s working on a new album, a song snippet popped up on Twitter featuring him rapping over a Lauryn Hill sample.

The song in question features a sample of  Lauryn Hill’s beloved song “Ex-Factor.” On it, Drizzy’s raps, “You’re showin’ off, but it’s alright / You’re showin’ off, but it’s alright and it’s a short life.”

After hearing the snippet, fans were excited about the possibility that a Drake and Lauryn Hill collaborative song could come out very soon. Drake’s record label Universal Music Group has issued a cease-and-desist letter to the person responsible for the leak, but that hasn’t stopped others from sharing recordings of the track.
