Barbee – “Whoa”

Bridging a Caribbean sound with Pop sensibilities, Caribbean pop princess, Barbee has been an island and international star for years. Now in America, Barbee has joined up with music mogul and entrepreneur Master P to become a model for his brand. Barbee is proving she is just not another beautiful 6 foot beauty on a Master P photoshoot. Barbee has carved her own lane with hit records in the islands and internationally with Beanie Man, Junior Kelly as well as songs with Trina, Baby (Cash Money) and DJ Luke Nasty.

Barbee’s new video “Whoa” is a Reggae infused pop hit produced by Platinum producing duo, Rock City, On the track the guys laced a classic Sister Nancy sample from the track “Bam Bam,” famously heard in the 1998 classic movie Belly.

Visually, “Whoa” is inspired by the classic movie’s “Black Light Scene” which Barbee recreates in her own sexy female way for an alternative version not to be missed. It’s a fun, sexy, party vibe and a great record for the DJs with a Reggae/Pop fusion taking over the club scene.
