Chris Brown Pleads NOT GUILTY

Chris Brown pleaded not guilty in his hit-and-run case during a hearing today (July 23) in Los Angeles. The charge stems from a minor car accident in May, which led to his probation getting revoked.

According to TMZ, Breezy has until Aug. 6 to go to a police station and get booked on the charge, which means he will have to take a mug shot.

As for the remaining charges from the fender bender — driving without a valid license and driving without proof of insurance — they were dismissed after Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, presented proof he was licensed in Virginia.

The”They Don’t Know’ singer still faces a probation violation hearing on Aug. 16.  Last week, the judge revoked his probation because of the hit-and-run charge. If the judge feels Brown violated his probation, he’s facing four years in prison. For now, the crooner remains free on his own recognizance.

Brown’s trial in the hit-and-run case is scheduled for Aug. 15.

It looks like August is going to be a tough month for Brown. Good luck.
