Brandy made a big return to music with her new album B7, which sees 15 new tracks from the R&B legend and additional appearances from Daniel Caesar, her daughter Sy’rai, and Chance The Rapper, who provided a verse on the album’s lead single “Baby Mama.” Following the project’s release comes a new visual for the track “Borderline,” which is produced by Darhyl “Hey DJ” Camper and sees Brandy fighting through mental issues created from toxic relationships of the past: The accompanying visual is directed by Derek Blanks and sees Brandy performing the song in what looks like a nightclub. In another sequence, viewers can also see her being forced into a padded room and straight jacket, a direct reference to the subject matter in the song. The clip ended with a message showing support for all who need assistance in regards to mental health.
