SZA has had nothing but amazing success with her newest album, CTRL, and its clear that she has had nothing but support from her family (both her mother & grandmother are heard on the album). But it’s even sweeter when her family speaks on how much they love the album aka when her dad recorded a video of him listening to “Broken Clocks” and teared up a bit. *Be right back, we need some tissues*
One of SZA’s fans posted a video of SZA’s dad, Abdul Mubarak-Rowe, singing “Broken Clocks” as he’s rocking a “CTRL The Tour” baseball cap (he has great fashion sense!) You can hear him saying, “Every time I hear this song sweetie, I’m in tears,” he said. “I love this song by you — I love your whole album but this is one of my favorite songs.”
