TAMI ROMAN GETS SPIN OFF SHOW

Tami Roman is ready for bigger and better things after her run on “Basketball Wives” this season, and a spin-off may be in her future.

Tami’s already tweeted that she does not intend to stick around for another season of “BBW” so that she can be labeled a bully. Instead the VH1 star dished during a recent radio interview that she’s currently working on her own show.

“I don’t even know if ‘Basketball Wives’ is even going to have another season. My focus right now is ‘The Roman Empire,’” Tami told ‘The Morning Riot’ this week. “That’s my own show; it’s in development. It’s about my life, my daughters, my core group of friends.”

According to Tami, her show will feature some guest appearances from her friend Elise Neal. “I’m just excited about showing the world who we are,” Tami said.

Before that, Tami also weighed in on why she thinks that “Basketball Wives” has reportedly had declining ratings this season. In her opinion, its the direct result of the cast toning down the violence on the show, which is what viewers said they wanted.

“There is no drama,” Tami told “The Breakfast Club” on Monday. But even if the ratings were still on par with what they had in previous season, she believes the show is winding down. “I think that it’s the show’s last season. I don’t really know how many more–the five of us collectively–how many more stories we have to tell.”

She continued, “We may have run our course.”

Besides, Tami’s not enjoying the experience of being on “Basketball Wives” nearly as much as she once did.

“Not so much,” Tami said. “When we have to show up to tape, we do it. But after that, we don’t really talk and communicate with each other. I don’t consider them like my die-hard, ride-or-die friends. So you show up to work with people that you’re really don’t check for.”
