Where Are They Now: Tevin Campbell

When we were first introduced to Tevin Campbell in the early 90’s we knew he was something special. Like many of the greats, young Tevin grew up singing in his church before getting signed to Warner Bros in 1991. During this time he teamed up with Quincy Jones to work on his debut album “T.E.V.I.N.”
His second album “I’m Ready” hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. Two of his most infamous songs, “Can we Talk” and “I’m Ready” were featured on this album. After successfully coining two albums he released two more “Back to the World” and “Tevin Campbell.”
The singer does not only make magic behind the mic but also the big screen appearing in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Moesha,” “Hairspray,” and many others.
So what has this Rnb legend been up to lately? The 38 year old is now signed to Spectra Music Group. Campbell has made some musical appearances these last few years performing at the Essence Music Festival in 2014 and recently at an all White Affair in Atlanta. Since the singer is making appearances, let’s cross our fingers for some new music.
Until then, let’s throw it all the way back with his 1993 hit “Can We Talk.”
