First it was Aaliyah, then Whitney Houston, and now Toni Braxton will have her own biopic-and she will be playing herself. Yes you heard it right. Ms. Braxton will portray herself in this Lifetime biopic titled “Unbreak My Heart.”
The movie is based off her 2014 memoir which discusses her health, family, finances, rise to fame, and much, much more.
Biopics are very touchy and what better way to ensure the greatest portrayal of yourself other than to play yourself?! Not only is she starring in this new movie, but she will produce it as well alongside Vondie Curtis Hall.
