Cherlise speaks on “Under The Mistletoe:”
“Christmas has always been my favorite holiday of the year. I have always enjoyed listening to different artists take classic Christmas songs, and add their own unique twist in admiration of the Christmas cheer. It was important to me that as a singer and songwriter, my first Christmas melody be a song that spoke originality to my own heart. “Under The Mistletoe” was written by myself and Division 1 producer, Pierre Medor, which is a combination of celebrating the Christmas holiday with your loved ones while bringing sexiness into it. Living in a society filled with superficialism, I wanted to highlight the true meaning of Christmas which is being in the company of love, friends and family to create new memories and smiles amongst each other. This song speaks on the chemistry that a couple shares that surpasses any gift that can be given between the two. It is all about love and loving one another. This record is the perfect marriage between Christmas and sexy! For me, this is the only way to having a wonderful Christmas day and night. Enjoy!”
