BJ The Chicago Kid Pays Homage To Marvin Gaye In “Uncle Marvin”

Our favorite “Chicago kid” BJ The Chicago Kid, has paid homage to one of the greatest, Marvin Gaye with his latest single “Uncle Marvin.” Gaye, who is known for hits such as “Sexual Healing” and “What’s Going On,” has been the inspiration for many of today’s talent and his lyrics are brands itself.

Chicago artist, BJ The Chicago Kid has sampled Marvin’s hit “Cleo’s Apartment” as BJ sings, very soulfully, to a piano playing smoothly in the background.

BJ has recently been nominated for three Grammy awards. One for “Best R&B Album,” “Best R&B Performance,” and “Best Traditional R&B Performance.”
