Toronto, Canada RnB and soul singer Daniel Caesar is in need of a standing ovation and round of applause. The independent artist earned his first Gold single in the United States and Canada for the hit single “Get You” featuring Kali Uchis.
The singer/songwriter recently released his full-length debut, Freudian, on his own Golden Child Recordings.
“Get You” (feat. Kali Uchis) has already generated over 75 million streams and 17 million YouTube views to date. As soon as the single hit the airwaves, the record climbed into the Top 5 of iTunes Top R&B/Soul songs and upon the release of Freudian, “Get You” found itself in the Top 25 of Billboard’s R&B charts. The single also garnered a Viewers Choice Award nomination at this year’s BET Awards.
