Frank Ocean Sues “Blonde” Producer Over Songwriting Credits

Frank Ocean is suing producer Om’Mas Keith who worked on Ocean’s Blonde album over songwriting credits. Keith claims to have contributed to the songs “Pink + White” and “Ivy” and is trying to get his name on the credits.

Frank claims this wasn’t the case at all. He said that Keith was hired just a producer and was paid a flat fee. Now, he’s suing in attempt to get a judge to block Om’Mas from getting songwriting credits.

A representative for Frank Ocean has told Pitchfork: “A complaint has been filed against Om’Mas Keith who has falsely stated to have written certain songs which appear on the album ‘Blonde’. These claims are untrue and this issue is being dealt with by litigators.”

Keith has not yet commented publicly.
