Hello Forever follows four women in the Filipino sex trade industry struggling to survive. All while dealing with sexual abuse and the loss of their autonomy.
Survival is a thrilling and complicated theme in this film. As in real life and the sacrifices that are made in life or death situations, the women make a series of choices for their own safety that put them into a very morally precarious position.
All in all, this movie is very deeply emotional in its examination of the sex trade and the options for the people affected by it. In this case, the option is to fight, and they do.
The characters are all played beautifully by their actors. Isis King of America’s Next Top Model plays Rommy.
