Justin Timberlake has the no.1 R&B album in the country again. Just one week after being unseated by Fantasia’s fourth studio album, “Side Effects of You,” Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience” has regained the top spot on the Billboard R&B Albums and R&B/Hip Hop Album Charts.
According to Nielsen Soundscan, Timberlake’s “20/20” sold another 68,000 copies within the last week, bringing his U.S. sales total to 1.741 million.
“Behind Buble this week is Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience,” which holds at No. 3 (on the Billboard 200) with 68,000 (down 8%). “20/20″ has spent its entire seven-week chart run lodged in the top three: its first three weeks were at No. 1, followed by four straight frames at No. 3,” reports Billboard.
As for Fantasia’s “Side Effects of You,” the album dropped 60 percent in its second week, moving 36,000 copies, for a total of 127,000 copies sold in the U.S..
Following “Lose To Win,” the lead single, Fantasia is poised to push “Without Me,” a collaboration with Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.
