Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey isn’t shy about her close relationship with Empirestar Jussie Smollett, but the pair’s latest interaction really takes things to the next level. Curious to know what happened? Read on!
Cynthia was one of the many people who descended upon Essence Fest 2015 in New Orleans this past weekend — she took part in several panels, including one with daughter Noelle — and it turns out that Jussie was there as well. When the two pals crossed paths, Jussie wanted to show support for his friend by wearing a pair of sunglasses from her Cynthia Bailey eyewear collection. A grateful Cynthia posted a video of the interaction on Instagram, which you can see below.
On his instagram Jussie mentions that he loves the shades, which happen to look very good on him. Not surprisingly, Cyn is happy for the support. As she says in the caption, Cynthia is thankful for her “ridiculously talented” friend who is always “loving and supporting” her endeavors.
And this is hardly the only time Jussie has supported and encouraged Cynthia and her family. Earlier this year he visited Sports One, a restaurant owned by Cynthia’s husband Peter Thomas, and wished Cynthia’s daughter Noelle a happy 16th birthday.
In our opinion, Cyn should use her relationship with Jussie to work her way on to Empire Season 2. How good would she be on the FOX drama?! After all, if model Naomi Campbell can make it work then Cynthia can too!
