In case you missed it, Ro James released a track on the anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s passing. The track, produced by Salaam Remi, features a vocal sample from Biggie and is titled, “Lost My Mind.”
Ro sings about his battle between wanting to be deep in love and doing his own thing. You can hear him singing, “If you think you can handle it (it’s all right)/My love is like gambling (it’s all right)/Got to know how we be dealing (it’s all right)/Got you all in your feelings (it’s all right)/Can’t have me all the time baby (it’s all right)/They say love is blind baby (it’s all right)/But I need you to see baby (it’s all right)/That I gotta be free (it’s all right).”
In between the verses, you can catch The Notorious B.I.G. rapping, “Choppin’ Os, smokin’ la in Optimos/Money, hoes and clothes: all a nigga knows,” from the famous track, “Big Poppa.”
