What do you get when you combine director, Jordan Peele, and singer, Janelle Monae? PURE MAGIC! Get Out‘s Peele, teamed up with W Magazine to direct Janelle Monae’s shoot with them and it came out just perfectly!
In honor of Janelle’s upcoming album and film, Dirty Computer, W Magazine sat down with Janelle to discuss what is coming next BUT the best part of it all was the shoot. The shoot — titled “Noir Town”– has a murdersque but chic vibe to it. “I wanted to create a Hitchcock moment that doesn’t really exist in a Hitchcock film,” explained Peele.
Along with the theme, the wardrobe was absolutely to die for! As you can see in the photos below, Janelle was dressed in Burberry, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, DSquared2, Etro and more! GORGEOUS!
