You would hope this day and age grown, successful women could put aside their petty differences and could for once unite and celebrate each others accomplishments. Well that is obviously a pipe dream.
Last Tuesday K. Michelle tried to lay aside her well publicized beef with fellow R&B singer Tamar Braxton by promoting and supporting her “Love & War” release along with other crooners new releases.
At first it looked like everything could be peachy creme in the R&B universe. That is until yesterday morning.
Yesterday (sept. 9) “The One” singer stopped by the New York’s 105.1 The Breakfast Club on Monday morning to promote her latest album,Love and War, and her reality show, Tamar and Vince. When she was asked how she felt out the V.S.O.P’s kind gesture Braxton felt like it was too little too late.
“If you do one good gesture, does that make up for you calling me a muppet? Does that make up for you telling everyone I lip sync,” she explained,“I don’t want to talk about her. In my third day. I’ve sold over 100,000 copies of my album, so we aren’t even in the same conversation in life,” she added.
Well K. Michelle didn’t take to kindly to the singers comments. Like always she took to Twitter to say her peace, however it looks like it back fired after she was attacked and had to surrender, pleading that fans and critics leave her alone.
I’m really just trying to stay positive and live my life. I bought the album 2supprt her and everything. I don’t get it. But I’m the bulley
