Kelly Rowland Now ‘Proud’ Of Abusive Ex, Talks ‘Good Game’ on Hot 97

Kelly Rowland has forgiven the man that  physically abused her during a turbulent relationship covered on her single, “Dirty  Laundry.”

Talking about forgiving him during a recent sit-down with Hot 97, Kelly Rowland said “I’m so proud of  him.”

“It’s a place where I was years ago and younger. Even the man that  I’m talking about in that song is a  different person now. I’m so proud of him too,”  she shared.

Digging a bit deeper, talking about forgiveness, she went on to say  that they actually communicate now and  have discussed “Dirty Laundry.”

“Absolutely. We’ve spoken since then. He was like, ‘I hope this is old  now.’ And it is. It’s completely done and  of course I forgive him. He was very understanding,”  said Kelly.
