LaLa Anthony said knowing her husband well and the two being truthful with each other has helped them avoid the dreaded reality TV relationship curse.
LaLa told S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown that she’s very specific about how much of her marriage is shared on “LaLa’s Full Court Life.”
“You don’t want to give too much to where it can be destructive or hurt your relationship, so I’m always very conscious of that, but so far, we’ve done well with that,” she said.
While some reality TV couples, like Kordell and Porsha Stewart of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” have been torn apart after sharing their lives on TV, LaLa and Carmelo have been able to stay clear of a lot of on-air marital drama, with the exception of a few rumors here and there.
LaLa and hubby Carmelo Anthony have known each other for 10 years, and she explained that intimacy helps keep them grounded.
“We just stay true and honest with each other and our stars have risen together, in a sense. So, it’s been a great journey for the both of us,” she said.
