Renowned Artist Agent X Unveils Aaliyah Piece From His Fall Collection

In a consumerist, media-obsessed culture it can take a brave artist to seize those elements, make use of them, and turn them in on themselves. In exciting news for both old fans and new, artist Agent X recently announced the early release of a piece from his forthcoming 2018 Fall Collection, incorporating abstract art and music icons. Since this year has been such a pivotal one for women in so many regards, Agent X is giving us an early look at one of his most revered female subjects, Aaliyah. The entire Collection of 17 pieces will debut in September both on his website and in art galleries worldwide. Other subjects within the collection Missy Elliot, Cam’Ron, Madonna, TLC and Salt-N-Pepa.

Music and abstract art are two things that have had a huge influence on my work so to see that become more apparent with these new pieces is very fulfilling.” the American-Canadian born artist commented.

Agent X artwork jumped onto the radar when he was named as a semi-finalist in the 2011 New York Art Marathon. Multiple international honors rapidly followed including winning Top Entry in the competitive Curious Art-Pie Show at Curious Duke Gallery in London and being named among ‘12 Artists to invest in now’ by London’s New Blood Art Gallery. His artworks have been featured in New York Magazine, London’s Daily Mail; which featured his artwork collaboration with Microsoft for their Surface tablet campaign, and Wall Street International. Agent X’s much sought-after and unique artworks have been collected by galleries, art collectors and fans of art worldwide. Currently based in Vancouver, Agent X has exhibited in art meccas around the world including London, Singapore, Los Angeles, Germany, Amsterdam, New York, San Francisco, Spain and Toronto.

In addition to the excitement surrounding the new 2018 Fall Collection, Agent X continues his history of winning international interest and acclaim for his work with a solo exhibition being scheduled in Zurich, at Galerie Wild. Galerie Wild was founded in 1980 in Steckborn, Switzerland and since then been a big part of the European art world, with Basel, German, and Zurich extension galleries being opened.
