WOW! Willow Smith really blew me away while preforming at the premiere of Queen Latifah’s new daytime talk show, “The Queen Latifah Show,” this Monday (Sept.16)
Taking the stage, the talented star performed “Summer Fling” with her band, giving off an Rihanna-iste vibe with her eccentric fashion and sound.
As widely reported, the video for the song was deemed somewhat controversial earlier this year for not being age appropiate , but that didn’t stop Willow from making it work and imparting some knowledge on those who had a problem with the track.
“Just for clarity, the word ‘fling’ means something short-lived. And this song is dedicated to all the kids around the world who so miss their beloved ones,” Willow said during her appearance.
