Exclusive Interview with Eric Bellinger

Its February 11, 2014 on a beautiful sunny day in California. I went to visit Eric Bellinger at his recording studio for an exclusive interview. Upon my arrival I noticed Eric wrapping up his interview with another media source. One may be thinking, what’s all the fuse about? Today BCMG/YFS released Eric Bellinger’s new album “The Rebirth.”

You could feel the excitement through his passionate words. Bellinger feels people paint pictures all day in their mind, so why not use your creative images to make a body of art. The album contains a two disc set with 32 styles of Eric Bellinger. It took between 7 to 8 months to complete the album. Eric enjoyed working with different people like Too Short, Ty Dolla $ign, Jon B. just to name a few. When it comes to working with big names in the business Eric says, “I’m not big on politics, ‘I just appreciate a hot track.” Bellinger’s favorite track is called Reward, this song is dedicated to the hopeless romantic. Eric is currently riding the R&B wave with his hit single I Don’t Want Her. He also found success writing for others like Chris Brown (Bellinger’s Love More collaboration peaked at No.7 on the R&B charts), Justin Bieber,Brandy and many more.

Eric’s ultimate goal is to make a difference in the world through music. He dreams of one day becoming a person kids can look up too. He gives a lot of credit to his mom, family and friend for inspiration. Check out the full interview in the next issue of RnB Magazine. Eric gives us a moment about his grandfather Bobby Day.
