The Performance | Chris Brown-A Legend In The Making | RnB #14

Last year, March 8th, 2015, to be exact, I had the pleasure of going to the Between the Sheets tour starring Chris Brown and Trey Songz, with special guest Tyga. Now, I’m not just saying this because I’m already part of #teambreezy, but that was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Chris shut the Forum in Inglewood down-and I mean all the way down with his performances. The Forum was packed! Everybody, and I mean everybody, was on their feet dancing and turning up with him. If you’ve been to a Chris Brown concert, than you know he always has surprises in store for us. Some being surprise guests. Can you say Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla Sign, Miguel? I mean the list goes on and on. It is safe to say Chris is one of the best performers of our generation.

Back in 2005 when we were first introduced to Breezy with his first single “Run It,” I think we all knew he was destined for stardom. It’s not just because he can sing and dance his ass off, but his star quality dominates the stage. As a child, Chris taught himself how to sing and dance. He also sung in his church choir. It’s no surprise that the great, the legendary, Michael Jackson is his inspiration. His dance moves are unique and untouchable.

What makes a great dancer is their athleticism. Dancing for hours is exhausting, but comes second nature for Brown. He has been playing basketball since middle school. Look how he dominates the court in this Power 106 Basketball game.

AND HERE…

Here are some of Breezy’s top performances.

1.) 2012 Billboard Music Awards
Check this out. This performance was everything. Look at the dance movies and the way he dominates the stage. His dancers are all in sync. The entrance was done the way an entrance was supposed to be done. What’s not to love about “Turn Up The Music?”

2.) Chris Brown Performs “Turn Up The Music” and “Beautiful People” at the 54th Grammy Awards
**I had the pleasure of actually attending this show. My friends and I were standing by him (along with a crowd of people) as he walked out to do this performance. Sadly, that part isn’t included in this video. But it was amazing!**

3.) Chris Brown’s 2014 Soul Train Awards Performance
Chris Brown took us all the way back with some of his hits he won us over when he first came out. “Yo,” “Take You Down,” and “Poppin” were the shi shi shi shi when they first came out and today that are still lit. To end his performance, he blazed the stage with “Loyal” and “Flame.”

4.) Check out his appearance on Dancing With The Stars where Breezy performs “Yeah 3X” in that all red. He’s flipping and turning and dominating the stage. Remember when I mentioned athleticism? Well, he definitely exhibits his athletic side here.

I think after watching these videos, you will be convinced that Brown is the best performer of our generation. Anyone can sing. Anyone can dance. But not everyone can entertain.
