From Consequence of Sound

This year marks the 90th Annual Academy Awards and we honestly are beyond excited for all the performances!

This years’ Oscars will feature performances from:

  • R&B crooner, Miguel, who will be joined by singer Natalia Lafourcade and actor Gael García Bernal, to perform the song, “Remember Me” from the animated film, Coco.
  • Best Supporting Actress nominee, Mary J. Blige, who will be singing “Mighty River” from the Netflix hit film, Mudbound.
  • Andra Day and Common who will be teaming up for a performance of “Stand Up for Something,” which is from the film, Marshall.

We’re sensing a theme here: amazing musicians giving us unforgettable performances!

The 90th Annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel from the Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on March 4th and it will air live on ABC at 8pm EST. And if you need a reminder of how the performances usually go, check out John Legend hit the stage at the 2017 Academy Awards below!
