Janelle Monáe has just become the newest face of CoverGirl. Monáe joins the latest CoverGirl Pink and past spokeswomen Rihanna, Brandy, Queen Latifah, and Tyra Banks. Her first 10-page print campaign will appear in the September issue of Vogue. The 26-year-old Kansas native took to Twitter to celebrate the news. “I’m strong. I’m beautiful. I AM A COVERGIRL!!!!” tweeted Monáe. CoverGirl welcomed her to the family. “Welcome @JanelleMonae to the @COVERGIRL fam! Excited to go on this beauty journey with you!”
