Hear that? That’s the sound of us freaking out because two of our favorite divas with hearts of gold were seen posing together in London recently. Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys are overseas gearing up for Chime for Change’s concert this Saturday.
With Alicia on the board of supervisors and J.Lo performing, the “Sound of Change Live” show is going to be one of the biggest events of the year, and it’s all for one very important reason: to empower girls and women around the world. Some of the biggest names in music — Beyoncé, Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding, John Legend and more! — will perform at the global concert event to promote education, health and justice for girls and women everywhere. The concert is funded entirely by Gucci, which means that all of the proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to projects that focus on helping girls and women in those areas. On June 2, the day after the concert, ticketholders will receive an email with a unique code that can be used to support a project of their choice.
