Longtime fans of the popular show Lincoln Heights and those who enjoy the mysterious show Grimm will get a chance to read about Russell Hornsby in our next issue! We were able to speak with the charismatic actor to gain insight about his characters. Not only did he provide a better understanding for his roles, but we also got to pick his brain about his perspective on Black Entertainment today. Of course we are an RnB magazine so we also got his opinion on music! Believe it or not music helps shape the careers of not only artists but actors, athletes, and even politicians.
We found out although he’s not the best singer, [like most of us] Hornsby can definitely appreciate good classic music that speaks to the soul. It’s refreshing to know that while he’s busy on television keeping us glued to our seats until commercial break; he’s listening to some of the same music we enjoy. To really appreciate music to his degree it says a lot about his character. Russell Hornsby is a man who connects with his surroundings in order to expand his knowledge of the world.
