Hip Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs put in a bid for $200 million for the music network Fuse TV, according to sources close to Combs.

Sean Combs is known for his music endeavors, liquor, fashion and his cable music channel Revolt TV. Combs plans to convert Fuse into Revolt TV, Fuse is currently owned by Madison Square Garden Co. Comcast plans to back Revolt TV but Sean is one of many bidders.

If the deal goes through “Revolt TV would gain distribution and higher subscribers fees,” a source says. Revolt TV will gain access to 74 million viewers compared to 22.8 million current viewers. DirectTV, DishNetwork, and CableVision will start to carry Revolt TV if the deal goes through as well as Comcast and Time Warner.

This will open up a lot of opportunities for everyone involved in the industry. Let’s show our support when it happens.
