Meleka is well known for her influences from the dance scene with her collaboration with Basement Jaxx and Snakehips led on her earlier release of I Don’t Know this last Fall. With her feet dipped passed her toes into the electronic scene, Meleka really takes her music to another level with her latest EP called The Funkin 90’s EP. The album is a serious blast-from-the-past with an all original intro any 90’s kid would recognize in their sleep, the following 6 tracks are all unique remakes of original 90’s hits. With the new year coming up Meleka really has her hands full on an array of genres to collaborate with for her own unique sound.
