The 20-year old singer, songwriter, and producer began recording in marathon sessions at a small, downtown Portland recording studio at the age of 16. Quietly studying the art of recording and producing, he meticulously began to create his own beats and songs inspired by 90’s R&B including R. Kelly and Jodeci’s DeVante Swing. By 19, records like “XXX,” Cash Flow,” and “I Know” caught fire on Soundcloud and would crack 1-million plays each in a few months’ time.
TYuS with WE 96.3 will be hosting an intimate #CloserwithSkype live performance for fans this Friday in Portland in celebration of the EP release.
