In spite of the recent Donald Sterling situation, The Dream fought back by making a video called “Black.” This video represents the pride of the Nubian people and what they went through over the many years of being oppressed.

The Dream touched on blacks not being the only people who suffer. Every nationality has good and bad with in their culture. The Dream said, “Cause everywhere there’s a Chicago/ The only way we getting out of here is if we hit the lotto.” Poverty is everywhere and many people feel there is no way out, but remember there is always a way out.

“She said never be impressed with/ a man with no message/ I’m feeling real black right now/real black right now.”
