When you hear SiR sing, it’s impossible not to feel it. The Inglewood native first made a name for himself under the radar by writing for everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, and Jay Rock to Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, and Jazzy Jeff. Following the release of 2015’s Seven Sundays album, he returned with the HER EP series—HER and HER TOO—and garnered widespread praise. He spent 2017 piecing together his forthcoming new album, which builds upon the promise of his early material and showcases his powerhouse voice and songwriting on full display like never before.
