The courage of a brave 6-year-old boy turned what could have been a nightmare into a joyous story.
According to ABC Chicago, Kaylen Woodard’s help stop the attempt of a stranger trying to abduct his 10-year-old neighbor on the South Side of Chicago.
Kaylen was playing with his next-door neighbor, Marcy, in front of their homes, when a strange man grabbed Marcy and tried to pull her into his car. Kaylen reportedly kicked the stranger in the leg, giving his friend a chance to escape. According to ABC Chicago.
When Marcy’s mother, Tracey Edwards, looked out the window to see what the kids were doing, she noticed her daughter running toward the house frantically. Tracey ran outside looking for the man who attempted the abduction, but the perpetrator got in his car a fled away. The police has an open investigation regarding this matter.
