Canadian bred Rnb singer Deborah Cox blew us away with her angelic voice when she hit the scene in 1998 with her hit “Nobody’s Supposed to be Here.” Throughout her career, the lovely Ms.Cox has coined five studio albums, been signed to every hit record label from Arista to Primary Wave (presently). Deborah has been nominated for numerous awards including Soul Train Music awards, Grammy’s, and Image awards, winning many.
We haven’t heard much from the Rnb beauty, but she has been working tirelessly. In fact, the singer covered the vocals for the 2015 Whitney Houston biopic which appeared on Lifetime. She is also working on her six studio album, in seven years, titled “Work of Art” which is slated to be released August 15 (next month).
Deborah also performed at the opening ceremonies in 2014 in Toronto for the WorldPride.
Aside from working in the studio, the 41 year old singer/songwriter is a full-time mom and is married to her husband Lascelles Stephens who is also her songwriting partner and manager. The two share three children together.
