NexCyx began in 2004 as a musical experiment on the University of West Indies campus in Barbados. Since then, it has evolved into a celebrated outfit, with a repertoire of original hit music, and a solid—and growing—fan base. The five personalities that form NexCyx today are as diverse as their stories are intriguing.

The mishmash includes pianist/producer Andre, drummer Chad, bass guitarist Chris, dancer/singer/rapper Mahalia and rocker Russell.
