This year we have had lots of concerts and performances from fantastic artists. From Kendrick Lamar to A Tribe Called Quest, 2017 saw a rebirth R&B/Hip-Hop golden age. Ergo, it is impossible to look forward to what 2018 will bring regarding live performances.
$UICIDEBOY$
The Hip-Hop band arrives in Madrid on Saturday, February 24, 2018. The concert will take place in the Sala But at 9:00 p.m. But the doors will open an hour before. Emerging from the underground, this New Orleans duo formed by Ruby da Cherry and $ lick $ loth has shocked the rap with thirty EPs since its formation, in 2014. Their live shows are spectacular and filled with adrenaline.
MattyBRaps
This rapper became interested in Hip-Hop at the age of five. He was attracted to the rhythms and immediately wanted to take dance lessons. However, it was thanks to his cousin that the gained fame. Matty’s cousin uploaded a video of him rapping on Youtube, and it exploded. His popularity has reached such level that the 14 years old is already touring. If you are interested in watching this prodigious kid live, MattyB is going to be performing in Houston, Texas, at “Warehouse Live” on February 11th of 2018.
BabyFace
As a singer, songwriter, and producer, Babyface was an inescapable presence in almost every major facet of pop music pending the ’90s. His records helped create the smooth, urban crooner, and raw sound made him a staple of contemporaneous urban radio. Additionally, to his solo career, Babyface also collaborated in the songwriting and production with other celebrities. This work tied him with some of the largest stars and hit tracks of the past decade. Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be performing next year in Englewood, NJ at Bergen Performing Arts Center on January 12th, at 18:00 p.m.
Desiigner
The singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, record executive and actor rose to fame after the release of his mega-hit, ‘Panda.” The song reached number 1 on the Billboard top 100 and was sampled by Kanye West in his album Life of Pablo. Desiigner will be performing in Uebel & Gefährlich, Hamburg, Germany March 12, 2018.
Macklemore
The American rapper from Seattle, Washington will kick off the second leg of his tour by playing at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, the UK on March 30, 2018. The performance is part of his “Glorious” tour, which has already visited the US and Canada. Macklemore has made a bit of a wave recently for his controversial performance of “Same Love” during the National Rugby League final in Australia. But it seems that the attention has been mostly positive.
Sean Paul
The Jamaican sensation was, initially, not slated to become an artist. Sean Paul wanted to be a hotel manager at first. However, we are all grateful he did not pursue that dream for too long. Our favourite Jamaican singer has also been a collaborator with several great artists. The most recent one being “Rockabye” by Clean Bandit. Sean Paul will be performing at the Fox Theater, Foxwoods Casino, Mashantucket, Connecticut on March 23, 2018.
Set aside your ticket, because you do not want to miss any of these stars!
