J. Cole made a surprise appearance at Sunday’s BET Awards. Following an introduction from host Jamie Foxx, the Fayetteville rapper delivered a powerful performance of “Friends” with some special guests.
Daniel Caesar delivered his soulful vocals before Cole emerged against a screen that read “Choose Wisely.” Wearing a T-shirt that read “You have the right to remain silent,” he delivered his song about addiction.
