Fourteen years after her death, the beautiful, the incomparable Aaliyah’s legacy continues to shine. To continue her legacy, her mother Diane and brother Rashad have linked with perfume company Xyrena to create an official scent in honor of the late beauty titled “Aaliyah.”
The new fragrance will be unisex to play into both Aaliyah’s tomboy yet sexy image.
According to the Xyrena website,” The formula is also a hue of black which was Aaliyah’s favorite color.” The website goes on to say, “Aaliyah by Xyrena has base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and jasmine; middle notes of black pepper, violet and leather; with top notes of mint, lavender and mandarin.”
The fragrance is available for pre-order, with five percent of sales going to The Aaliyah Memorial Fund.
