Ne-Yo is back today with the title track off his forthcoming album Good Man, which seems to be the next single as well. Ne-Yo showcases his vocal skills on the all out love song where he sings about wanting to be a good man to his woman. “And my plan is to be a good man, good man, to you, that’s all I want to be,” sings Ne-Yo on the melodic chorus.
“This album focuses on the journey of what it is to be a good man: a good man to your spouse, a good brother to your brother, a good person to the world,” explains Ne-Yo. “I am not proclaiming to be perfect. A Good Man makes mistakes, learns from those mistakes, therefore to not then repeat those mistakes. Being a A Good Man is a journey.”
