Bonnaroo365 continues its look at how he engineered D’Angelo’s shocking US comeback for the ambitious and legendary 2013 Superjam!
Follow Questlove as he juggles rehearsals, bandleader duties and a main-stage set by The Roots, all before this historic late-night performance got cooking and made its way into the wee hours of the morning.
Episode 3 features the band in prime form as they weave seamlessly from one Funkadelic classic, “Funky Dollar Bill,” to another, “Hit It and Quit It.”
The series features HD master footage
and never-before-seen backstage rehearsal material.
