Both Bridget Kelly and Tamar Braxton’s projects have been buzzing, but now we have some concrete details surrounding album names AND dates of the long-awaited projects from both divas!
Roc Nation singer Bridget Kelly has been building her fan base and working hard to perfect her sound with her singles “Special Delivery” and her latest Kendrick Lamar-assisted cut “Street Dreamin’.” She revealed to Rap-Up the title of her debut LP will be called Something Different, and she’s looking at the month of September to release.
Meanwhile, Tamar Braxton finally gets her time to shine. After living in her sister Toni’s shadow as her background singer, the birth of her first child Logan Vincent Herbert, and hot singles “Love & War” and “The One,” the diva revealed that her solo album Love & War is slated to drop on September 3 via Epic.
“I’m so excited about it,” Braxton told Cleveland’s Z107.9. “This is the album that I always wanted to make,” she revealed. “It best describes Tamar as a person and the first record that I did, I felt like a puppet. I was singing songs that people wanted me to sing, I was dressing like people wanted me to dress and I didn’t even know who I was at the time.”
Braxton will also co-host the summer daytime talk show “The Real” beginning on July 15.
Looks like 2013 is turning out to be an epic year for both!
